 Alcoholic beverage - Uzbekistan produces a variety of beers, white wine, red wine, cognac, vodka, widely available in restaurants, bars and shops

Antiques - older than 50 years need a certificate from the Ministry of Culture

Batteries - international name brands are available in standard sizes

Business hours - are generally 9or 10 until 5or 6 pm

Coffee - instant coffee is widely available in restaurants, bars and shops

Currency exchange - there are available many exchange offices

Custom declaration - fill in 2 per person upon arrival and upon departure

Dentist - There are many dental clinics, some of international standard

Dress code - you are free to wear whatever you are most comfortable in (sleeveless, miniskirts, shorts etc) Expect to see the latest in international fashion alongside traditional dresses. Generally people dress carefully

Drinking - water or milk and eating fruit at the same time is not advisable
