Uzbekistan Visa
In general all foreign nationals are required to have business or tourist visas to enter the Republic of Uzbekistan. To obtain the tourist visa, all foreign nationals, except citizens of USA, France, Italy, Belgium, UK, Northern Ireland, Japan, Germany, Austria, Spain, and Switzerland, need a visa support from Uzbektourism, the national tourism agency, or from one of the authorized independent travel agencies. The travel agency to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tashkent submits visa support application. The approval period is about 7-10 business days. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reserves the right to deny any application for visa support without providing further explanations. Approved visa support is faxed directly to the embassy or consulate of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the country where the traveller is receiving visa.
Tourist Visa: For tourist visa the visitor must apply to a tourist company having license from National Company Uzbekturizm. The visitor must send required information to the tourist company to be submitted to Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan. The procedure takes 7-10 business days, after which the tourist company sends to the visitor his invitation copy with his telex number (confirmation-number). The visitor can obtain then his/her visa at respective Uzbek Embassies.

Business Visa: For business visa the visitor must buy the invitation from Uzbek firm interested to enter business dealing with the visitor (for USA citizens no invitation required) Uzbek consulates can issue business visas on their discretion if they find that the interested visitor has sufficient credentials.

Employment Visa: Ministry of Labour issues special employment permission and then the consulate issues Employment visa, which can be extended for one year.

Uzbekistan Visa Support
Visa support for a visa up to 2 weeks costs $20 per person (children under 12 - $10) and up to 1 month - $40 per person (children under 12 - $20). Additional consular fees are paid at the embassy with your visa application, which may range from $ 40 to $ 60 depending on the length of your stay.
Upon the approval of the visa support we will send you by e-mail reference number (telex number) of the approved visa support. After submitting a complete visa application form together with the visa support reference number to the embassy or consulate of the Republic of Uzbekistan you should be able to obtain your visa.

Where to apply for Uzbekistan Visa?
You can apply for a visa where Uzbekistan Embassies or Consulates exist.
It is possible to obtain a visa at the international arrivals lounge of Tashkent airport, if the following conditions are met:
- In the country of origin of the tourists there is no Uzbekistan Embassy and Consulate and
- The tourist has a connection flight to Uzbekistan, which does not leave him enough time to go the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the second country from which he is flying to Uzbekistan, or
- He is flying to Uzbekistan directly from the country where Uzbekistan has no Embassy or Consulate.
Copies of airplane tickets (which prove the above) should be submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tashkent together with visa applications form. If visa support is approved, officials from visa department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs will issue visas at the airport.

3.	Completed application form;
4.	1 passport-size photo;
5.	Fee, payable on collection of visa;
6.	Stamped, self-addressed envelope, if applying by post;
7.	Evidence of purpose of a visit;
8.	Confirmation of hotel reservation and details of stay;

Note: Tours and arrangements need to be made with licensed by Uzbekturizm company.
